I waited about 3 weeks for a reply from http://www.ceruleanstudios.com/ to test the new Trillian Astra. On thursday I got my wish, A shiny new email from cerulean studios. I was accepted into the new beta program to test it out! As a former pro user I was excited to try something new. Upon downloading i noticed right away with the install that this was different. The new program is shiny sleek and has almost all the options and add-ons one would need.
There are options for the usual MSN, Yahoo, AIM, and ICQ, IRC. Then there are the new ones such as Twitter, Email Google talk, Facebook, Myspace, Jabber, Skype, and Bonjour.
The new layout is impressive and does not look anything like it used to. This has more of a Windows 7 look to it, Oh and this does work in Windows 7 as I am running that now on the laptop.
All in all this is a nice new addition to the trillian line. I feel as though the new multiple IM program will be worth the time and effort put into it. If there is want I can post some images of the new program.
